It’s been one week since the launch of our Summer Collection — A Taste of Summer. This collection was a fun one to work one. Here’s a recap of everything that went on behind the scenes leading up to the launch:
Inspiration
This collection draws inspiration from classic summer elements—sun, sea, and shells. I wanted each piece to feel perfectly in tune with the season, making it effortless to get ready and feel put together. As always, I began the creative process with a moodboard, pulling together reference images that captured the essence of summer and sparked the direction for these designs.
Campaign & Content
We shot the campaign in Bali, Indonesia, in early February. The goal was to bring the collection to life by capturing it in a setting that truly reflects the essence of summer—salty air, sun-kissed skin, and beachy waves. The creative team also took a lot of still life imagery incorporating shells that really tied everything together.
Although we shot the campaign in February, it gave us an early taste of summer. We were so excited about this collection that when it came time to name it—just ahead of its early June launch—it felt only right to call it exactly that: A Taste of Summer.
We shot the e-comm in Los Angeles, keeping things true to our usual approach—neutral, simple, and pared-back to let the product take center stage. Styling plays a crucial role here; the looks are intentionally laid-back to help you visualize the pieces in everyday settings and provide inspiration for how to wear them.
